About

I started as a (mobile) DJ at a very early age. Like a lot of DJ's at that time, my ultimate goal was to make it a career and end up on Radio 1. As none of you will ever have heard of me, you can tell exactly what became of that idea! I had to give up doing it a few years ago.

So here I am, after a number of years in the DJ wilderness, trying again on the internet. Learning from my past experience, I don't have any goals in mind other than to have some fun and hopefully have some listeners to my inane ramblings and musical choices.

I started on internet radio around May 2003 after CMP Radio was featured in the Webscape section of the BBC's Click Online; now simply called 'Click'. CMP closed-down at the end of December 2004. After brief spells at a couple of other stations, I joined a station called QMR in August of 2005 but left (as did most of the other presenters at the time!) at the end of 2006.

Until recently, I could be exclusively on Reach Onair. However, since they changed to a subscription-based service I have not been able to afford to broadcast on there. I have been approached by a couple of other stations but am currently 'resting'; as they say!

I have always wanted to get involved with hospital radio and now have two shows a week on my local (Harrogate) station and, in 2009 gained a "Commended" certificate in that year's HBA Hospital Radio Awards; making me one of the Top Ten HR presenters in the country.

I only utilise MP3s on my show and I use an excellent package called RadioServerPlayer for playout.
